If you had never lied, I would have never learnt.
If  you hadn’t hurt me, I wouldn’t have gotten back up to be stronger.
If you had never spat your vile words at me, I would never have learnt to deal with others insecurity.
Your scrutiny, taught me never to be naïve.
Your thoughts, made my hands stronger.
Your words were enough to change me for better.
I’m glad that this was a chapter that was a part of my book, because without this I would still be oblivious to the dark side of this world.
But I still wish you hadn’t lied.
Because that’s when I stopped believing.
